Refreshingly elegant aromas with intense notes of acacia flowers. Dry, soft and well-balanced.
The wine has a brilliant straw yellow colour. Its fruity, spicy aromas are reminiscent of ripe apples, field flowers and fresh bread crust. Strong and elegant in structure, the wine has a well-balanced acidity and is framed by a sweet, round richness and great length.
Ripe red and black fruit The wine plays the finesse, with a lot of crunchy red fruits. Not exactly the blockbuster, but very delicate and refined with the necessary fraicheur. Already available within three years, and a potential of ten years.
At bottling the wine was very pale with light green tints. With time we expect that it will develop some pale gold hints. Like a Chameleon! Sometimes it's lemons and grapefruit, then it's marmalade, then it's peachy and sometimes a hint of feijoa is lobbed in. Surprisingly rich, full and textural. The stonefruit character fills and the mid palate and gives the wine length and breadth.
Deep, bright ruby in colour. Defined gentle black fruit nose, slightly reserved , but made complex by the 100% new French barriques in which it was aged. Dark and dense in the mouth, but with a lively structure, aniseed and liquorice mingling with berry fruits to give very defined aromatics.
