746 Retro Design 1960's Telephone in Cream

The 746 is a quintessential British retro telephone and '60s style icon. Launched in 1967 by the general post office in response to public demand, it would inspire two decades of conversation and is, to this day, the universal symbol of the phone. Known as 'the modern phone' it was a welcome re -design to the popular 706 model. In celebration of this great British icon, our replica maintains the bold curves of the original design in a striking range of colours. The iconic type 302 phone was designed by the prolific industrial designer Henry Dreyfuss and introduced in 1937. He used ear to mouth measurements from 2000 people to create the egonomic handset.
