From the good 2012 and scoring 85-7/100 Parker Points, "The 2012 Bourgogne Hautes Cotes de Nuits Rouge benefitted from the clement late weather and was picked between the 5 and 10 October. It sports a healthy deep ruby color. The nose is fragrant and nicely poised with cranberry and blackcurrant aromas that seem quite intense at this stage. The palate is a little tough on the entry. This is underpinned by bold and quite firm tannins, the fruit pushed down into second place after the structure on the finish, but that will surface with time. It is a question of whether consumers will afford this 18-24 months bottle age hopefully they will." Drink now - 2021. This vintage wine is shipped in a deluxe wooden presentation box at no extra cost and now includes a free gift card with your personal message and tasting and storage notes.
"The proliferation of bargain-focused supermarkets across the UK, notably exemplified by discounters such as Aldi and Lidl, has fundamentally reshaped the grocery landscape. These retailers meticulously cultivate their competitive pricing strategies through highly efficient supply chain management and judicious selection of 2012 Hautes Cotes de Nuits Rouge 2012 Domaine Michel Gros stockists and direct suppliers. To maintain their low-cost inventories, these supermarkets frequently engage in bulk purchasing agreements and foster long-term relationships with manufacturers capable of producing high-volume, often private-label, goods. Suppliers, in turn, adapt their production methods and packaging to meet the stringent cost requirements and rapid turnover demands of the discount sector, thereby enabling these retailers to pass significant savings onto consumers. This intricate network of strategic sourcing and operational optimisation underpins the sustained affordability offered by UK’s bargain supermarket segment. " - Bargainplace UK
