One Day Remains" is the debut album by the US American Rock band Alter Bridge. The band Creed split up at the beginning of 2004 because of conflicts between vocalist Scott Stapp and the instrumentalists. Thereupon Mark Tremonti (guitar), Brian Marshall (bass) and Scott Phillips (drums) got together with Myles Kennedy (without Stapp) who had previously been vocalist of The Mayfield Four. They founded the band Alter Bridge together and signed a contract with Wind-Up Records shortly afterwards, where also Creed had been under contract.
