img { border-radius:5px; } Analogue Avant-Garde Massive. Sonic. Beast Arturia Matrixbrute is a programmable Mono/ Duophonic analogue (no... really.... with a 100% analogue audio signal chain) synthesizer that Arturia claim is a challenger for the title of the "most powerful analogue Synthesizer..ever", What we at Scan know is that it is certainly a dream device for anyone interested in sound creation. Featuring 3 distinctive 'Brute' Osclillators, 5 different all-analogue effects, Steiner-Parker and ladder filters and an almost unbelievable modulation matrix that will undoubtedly cement its place in the synthesizer hall of fame! Power Beyond the Matrix Get To The Heart Of The MatrixBrute It features 256 memory presets (the fact that it has presets immediately makes owners of the rest of Arturia's 'Brute' range envious), which can be accessed directly from the matrix, no more scrolling through banks and letterboxes! The direct access makes this as ideal for stage use as it does in the studio. Sound Beyond Power Empowering Connectivity MatrixBrute offers tons of connections, both internally and externally via its 12 CV I/O connections so can interface with almost any other analogue device that uses the standard 1V/oct standard. Hands-On Heaven Bringing Back The Fun Factor Forget about tiny LCD screens, being lost in menus and sub-menus, and trying to remember double functions and complex procedures. MatrixBrute brings back the fun and the immediate hands-on experience of synthesis. When you want things to shake, grab the Sub Osc slider and bring it on. When you want it to sizzle, grab the filter knob and open it up. And when it's time to unleash the beast, grab the Brute Factor knob and turn it loose! It's that easy. Sound Demos Below you can listen to some examples of the MatrixBrute in action: Three Analog Oscillators: (1) Sawtooth, Pulse, Triangle, waves with the unique waveshapers that have become the trademark of the 'Brute' sound. There is also a sub-oscillator on each of the two Brute oscillators. Combination VCO/LFO oscillator: (2) The third Oscillator can be used for both audio signals and LFO modulation at the same time. You do not have to choose either operation here so you can always have that big 3 oscillator sound. Noise Generator: (3) Noise generator with White, Pink, Red and Blue noise types. The most versatile on the market. Audio Mod: (4) The AUDIO MOD section allows for complex oscillator and filter FM possibilities bringing whole new tonalities to your sound. Performance Controls: (5) Pitch bend and mod wheels and 4 Macro encoders which can be assigned to any of the modulation destinations for instant hands on performance playing. Voice Modes: (6) Multiple keyboard modes for mono, paraphonic and duo-split modes. Split oscialltors for paraphonic mode or use the duo split mode to play a sequence while playing notes over the top of it. Three LFO's: (7) Two standalone LFO's with 7 waveforms and trigger modes allow for complex modulations. The combination VCO/LFO adds a 3rd LFO in the system. Mixer: (8) Mix and blend Oscillators 1, 2, 3, as well as the noise generator and EXTERNAL input sources. Route each mixer input to the filter of your choice using the FILTER assign buttons. Steiner-Parker filter: (9) The upgraded Steiner Parker filter supports both 12db per octave and 24db per octave slopes as well as a DRIVE control for making thicker sounds. The 4 modes, Lo
