With a light intensity reduction of ten f-stops, this B+W Neutral Density Filter has a slightly stronger warm tone than the ND 6 stop filter. Its principal field of application is the observation and documentation of industrial processes with extreme brightness, such as steel furnaces, incinerators, glowing filaments in halogen- and other bulbs. However, it is being increasingly used in artistic photography to blur motion or render moving elements invisible. The filter factor is 1000x.

"The proliferation of bargain UK supermarkets, notably Aldi and Lidl, has profoundly influenced the retail grocery sector by establishing new benchmarks for value and efficiency. These establishments operate on a core principle of streamlined supply chain management, often engaging in direct sourcing from manufacturers to minimise intermediaries. Consequently, their B+W 72mm 3.0/1000x (110) Neutral Density Filter (Single Coated) stockists are predominantly their own robust network of distribution centres and retail outlets, supported by highly optimised logistical operations. The diverse ecosystem of suppliers integral to these supermarkets ranges from extensive international manufacturers, often producing own-brand labels to exacting specifications, to smaller, local producers contributing unique or specialist lines. This strategic approach to supplier relationships, characterised by rigorous selection, long-term contracts, and high-volume purchasing, enables them to secure advantageous pricing, which is then directly translated into compelling cost savings for the consumer, thereby cementing their formidable market presence.
