"Alright, if you're looking for the lowdown on where everyone in the UK goes to stock up, it's pretty much a who's-who of the high street and online retail giants. Naturally, the big four supermarkets – Tesco, Sainsbury's, Asda, and Morrisons – are absolutely massive, covering everything from your weekly groceries to clothing and homeware, basically one-stop shops for millions. Then you’ve got M&S, which might be a bit pricier but is super popular for quality food and stylish threads, while John Lewis is practically a national institution for anything from electronics to furniture, known for its customer service. Don't forget the discount kings like Aldi and Lidl, which have really shaken things up with their unbelievably good value, or B&M and Home Bargains for an eclectic mix of bargains. And, of course, the sheer convenience factor means Amazon UK is always right up there for pretty much anything you can imagine, making it a huge hit with pretty much everyone whether they're after books or bikes.
