This Birmingham Segway Experience gives you an hour of fun on these futuristic machines - find out just how the incredible Segway responds to your body weight and movement, as you whizz round this lovely lakeside Segway track!Once you have arrived, registered, and been kitted out with your protective gear, your Segway experience begins with an introduction and safety briefing from one of the experienced Segway instructors. You'll have a go at the very basics of Segway riding - standing up onto it, making it go, making it stop, and stepping off safely. If you've never been on a Segway before, you might find it a strange sensation - but don't worry, you will have plenty of help from the instructor, and you'll play a few Segway games to get you comfortable and confident before you head out on the track. Once the group is ready, you will get onto the track to work on your new Segway skills, and to find out what these fantastic Personal Transporters are capable of. You'll get the chance to build up a little speed and test the responsiveness of the fantastic 'lean and steer' technology, and even if you found the Segway a little bit strange to begin with, by the end of the 60 minute session you should be whizzing around like a pro. It's amazing how quickly you get used to the Segway, and testament to it's very clever design! So if you're looking for a fun family activity in Birmingham, or a gift for someone who likes to get out there and try new and interesting experiences, try a super Segway midweek experience in Birmingham!
