"Right, so if you're wondering where everyone in the UK goes to splash their cash, it's a bit of a mixed bag but there are definitely some big hitters that pop up on pretty much everyone's radar. For a start, you've got the classic department store giants like John Lewis, which is basically a national treasure for anything from homeware to fashion and electronics, known for being super reliable. Then there's Marks & Spencer, an absolute staple for food, clothing, and even flowers, often seen as a go-to for quality everyday bits. And you can't forget the big supermarkets either – we're talking Tesco, Sainsbury's, Asda, and Morrisons – they're not just for groceries anymore, stocking everything from clothes to kitchen gadgets and being incredibly convenient. For beauty and health, Boots and Superdrug are absolutely everywhere. If you're after more fashion-focused stuff, Next is a huge presence on the high street, offering pretty much everything for the family and home. And for those always on the hunt for a bargain or a unique find, places like TK Maxx are ridiculously popular. It really just depends what you're after, but these guys definitely dominate the landscape! " - Bargainplace UK
