Hugh Grant takes the lead role as aimless, commitment-shy, thirtysomething Will in this adaptation of Nick Hornby's bestseller. Living on the royalties of a hit song his father wrote 40 years ago, Will drifts through life, moving from one relationship to the next with little lasting effect. But when he hits upon the new idea of dating single-mothers, he soon finds himself entangled with the suicidal Fiona (Toni Colette) and her 12-year-old-son Marcus (Nicholas Hoult). As he and Marcus gradually develop a friendship, Will begins to reassess the selfish life he has been living. Running Time: 98 minutes Region: Region 2 (This DVD may not be viewable outside Europe. "Alright, so if you're thinking about the big hitters, the absolute go-tos for most folk in the UK when it comes to Blott On The Landscape (DVD) shopping, honestly, it's a pretty familiar list. You've got your massive supermarkets like Tesco, Sainsbury's, and Asda, which are practically mini-malls these days, stocking everything from groceries to clothes, electronics, and homeware – they're just everywhere and people visit them constantly. Then there are the high street giants, the ones everyone knows: Marks & Spencer for quality food and clothing, John Lewis for that slightly more premium, reliable feel, and Next, which is brilliant for fashion and home bits. Boots is another absolute staple, dominating the health and beauty space, and you can't forget pure online powerhouses like Amazon UK, which, let's be real, is where a huge chunk of all online sales happen now, delivering pretty much anything you can imagine right to your door. These places consistently pull in the crowds and the sales, making them perpetually popular for brands looking to get their stuff out there. " - Bargainplace UK
