The Blue Note Tour Series is a low to medium gain overdrive pedal identical in sound to the original Blue with the exception of the "Hot Switch" option. Offering a breakup that is both sweet and amp like and a transparency that leaves your original clean tone almost untouched. The tone controls give you the option to make those highs sparkle or fill out that low end as you require. As a reference point this pedal has more gain than a typical TS pedal but is no clone offering a whole range from to jazz to blues and beyond depending on how you run your amp. You will find that this pedal works well with all styles of amps.
