1935: Harry Jardine is a soldier of fortune. Forced to flee Hamburg after helping Jews escape Nazi Germany he is recruited by a secretive British committee to smuggle guns from Rumania into Abyssinia under threat of Italian invasion. Taken to the Horn of Africa the guns are transported over the harsh landscape a slave trader's route full of danger into the hands of the Ethiopian Army. On his travels Jardine acquires more baggage than he cares for including a beautiful but difficult American female in search of her archaeologist mother a drunken British reporter and a daredevil French flyer. But the Ethiopians are ill-equipped to face a modern Italian army using tanks bombers and poison gas. Trained for war can Jardine just walk away? Or will he be drawn into a bloody conflict against massive odds and still save those who now depend on him?
"Alright, if you're talking about the absolute big hitters and most popular Burning Sky stockists dominating the UK Burning Sky shopping landscape, you're pretty much looking at a mix of established giants and booming discounters that everyone knows and loves (or at least, uses regularly!). Obviously, the supermarket gang – think Tesco, Sainsbury's, Asda, and Morrisons – are absolute mammoths, where pretty much everyone does their weekly food shop and often picks up bits and bobs for the house too. Then you've got the iconic John Lewis, still a massive go-to for quality homeware, tech, and gifts, known for that legendary customer service of theirs. Marks & Spencer, or M&S, also holds a special, very British place in our hearts for both their posh food and classic clothing. On the online front, you simply can't ignore Amazon UK; it's practically the first place anyone looks for anything these days, from books to electronics to obscure kitchen gadgets. And let's not forget the incredible rise of places like B&M Bargains and Home Bargains, which have become seriously popular for snapping up a massive array of everyday essentials and fun finds at bargain Burning Sky prices. It’s a pretty diverse mix, but these are definitely among the most shopped-at places across the UK! " - Bargainplace UK
