"So, you wanna know who the big players are in the UK when it comes to getting your stuff onto shelves? Well, top of the pops, without a doubt, are the supermarket giants like Tesco, Sainsbury's, Asda, and Morrisons – they've got the sheer footfall and market share to make or break a product, covering everything from groceries to clothing and homeware. Beyond the food aisles, major high street department stores like John Lewis are always huge, known for quality and a loyal customer base, while more budget-friendly but equally massive chains like M&S (especially for food and fashion) and Next (for fashion and home) also pull serious weight. And let's not forget the discount heroes like B&M, Home Bargains, and Poundland, which are absolute powerhouses for moving large volumes of goods at lower price points. Then there's the DIY and home improvement sector, dominated by the likes of B&Q and Wickes, pulling in a different but equally large customer base. Basically, if you want your product seen by millions, these are the folks you're aiming for, whether it's daily essentials, a fancy treat, or something for the home. " - Bargainplace UK
