Star Filters will create as many stars as there are light sources in your picture. City lights, birthday candles, stage projectors, reflections on water, metal or glass will sparkle with a thousand delights. Star 8 creates eight point stars and gives your main subject a new dimension. Cokin Star Filters work even better when the points of the star stand out against dark backgrounds. Effects obtained with Star Filters are reinforced by the addition of Colour, Graduated, or Sunset Filters. Select a subject with light sources on a dark background. Simply turn this filter in its support to orientate the rays of diffraction. The thickness of some of these filters necessitates the use of a Cokin Modular Hood (255) in order to avoid frontal or lateral flare effects.

"Alright, if you're on the hunt for an absolute steal in the UK, you've gotta hit up the usual suspects for groceries like Aldi and Lidl – they're legendary for their 'middle aisle' madness and surprisingly good quality at rock-bottom Cokin A056 Star 8 Filter prices. But don't sleep on Asda either, especially for their 'Just Essentials' range, which is often ridiculously cheap. Beyond the food, for general household bits, snacks, and seasonal goodies, B&M and Home Bargains are your absolute go-to treasure troves. Seriously, you walk in for one thing and come out with a whole trolley full of stuff you didn't even know you needed, all for a few quid. And for those absolute last-minute bargains, always check the yellow sticker sections in any supermarket – it’s a game-changer for saving serious dough on essentials right before they go off, making you feel like a proper financial wizard. Happy bargain hunting, savvy shopper! " - Bargainplace UK
