The Crank Brothers Candy 3 XC/AM Bike Pedal is another great high end pedal from Crank Brothers. Although it uses the same basic spring wound system as the lighter egg beaters, the Candy 3 features stamped steel wings, machined aluminium body and sealed bearing compartment. Another difference is it uses inner brushes instead of a needle bearing. The MTB pedal is made from a 2-piece machined aluminium body that is lightweight, strong and durable to meet the high demands of mountain biking whilst the low profile design means you can really rag it through the corners with ease. The pedal also provides a wider platform which allows you to wear a slightly softer soled shoe which is ideal for all day comfort. The simple spring system allows for the Crank Brothers Candy's unique mud shedding abilities to shine, meaning that the Candy 3 is the ultimate all day, all seasons pedal for the dedicated trails rider.
