"Right, if you're trying to figure out where everyone in the UK goes to shop 'til they drop, it's a bit of a mish-mash, but some names are just absolutely everywhere and super popular. You've got the supermarket titans like Tesco, Sainsbury's, Asda, and Morrisons, which are basically the national go-to for groceries, but they also stock a surprising amount of clothes, homeware, and electronics these days! Then there’s Marks & Spencer, a bit more upmarket for food and really popular for their fashion and lingerie too. For all things health and beauty, Boots and Superdrug are the undisputed champions on the high street. If you're after a proper department store experience, John Lewis is a massive favourite for quality everything from homewares to tech, and let's not forget Argos for pretty much anything you can imagine, often available super quick. For fashion, Primark is legendary for its affordability, while Next is another huge player with a wide range of clothing and home items. And obviously, online, Amazon UK is a behemoth for pretty much anything under the sun, alongside fashion specific sites like ASOS. These are the big hitters, the places brands clamour to get into because that's where the vast majority of Brits are doing their spending! " - Bargainplace UK
