A blend of rich pot still and elegant column distilled rums which are aged for around 6 years in ex-American whiskey casks initially before being re-casked in ex Oloroso sherry casks. This secondary maturation brings a wonderful complexity and depth of flavour to this rum. Nose: Elegant and enticing. Toffee, vanilla and dried fruits. Palate: Rich in flavour yet mellow and subtle. Seale & Co- a 4th generation family-owned business passed from father-to-son since the 1920's. The Foursquare Distillery, where it is produced, was built in the 1990's on the site of a 17th century sugar factory and is one of the most modern and environmentally friendly distilleries in the world.
