Youandrsquo;ll make a short stop off at andlsquo;Kirkbymoorsideandrsquo; where Annaandrsquo;s bus splashed through the stream outside the pub where Bates worked when he left Downton Abbey. Youandrsquo;ll also pass the pub where Branson and Sybil eloped in Series 2 and the church that Matthew and Edith visited in Series 1. Finish your day with a spot of afternoon tea at the property that was used as the filming location for Yew Tree Farm in series 4 and 5. This was the home of Mr Drewe, the struggling tenant who agreed to help secretly raise Lady Edithandrsquo;s illegitimate daughter. Important: This tour does not visit Downton Abbey due to the limited opening times of Highclere Castle. Also the castle exterior cannot be viewed from any areas accessible to the public.
