The ESI Chunky MTB Grip has been made from 100% silicone which will provide you with the best shock absorbing in the industry. These grips are extremely easy to install and they have been engineered with one side thicker for absorbing shock and vibration with the opposite side thinner for bulk-reducing comfort. The best materials and the best production process creates max shock absorption and grip, while maintaining the lowest weight possible and the highest level of durability. These grips can be cut to provide you with custom sizes. Just simply hold the grip next to your bar and cut with sharp scissors, utility knife, pipe cutter etc. and leave an extra 1/8” in length. These silicone grips don’t require any logos or tread to provide you with grip because silicone has a memory. When you grab an ESI grip, you get a custom mould of your hand for a no-slip ride every time. ESI's Silicone Grips and End Caps do not contain any natural rubber or natural rubber latex in its components or ingredients. ESI Chunky MTB Grip Features Great shock absorbing Easy to install and uninstall Precise bar control Great for all conditions No seal to break Extreme grip ESI Chunky MTB Grip Specification Length: 5 1/8 Diameter: 32mm Weight: + / - 5% Includes 1 set of end caps Weight: 60g ESI Grips: Installing/Uninstalling Instructions These ESI Grips are extremely easy to install. Before you start, ensure your handlebars are clean. You should first start off by pressing in the end caps to the grip. Then using Rubbing Alcohol or Window Cleaner, clean the inside of the grips. Then wet your bars and the inside of the grips and simply slide onto your handlebars. You should then rotate the grip so the thicker side is towards the palm and leave them for 24 hours. These Chunky MTB grips are equally as easy to uninstall. Start off by sliding a screwdriver with a dulled point (or something similar) under the grip. Be careful not to stretch the grip or scratch your bar. Then squirt Rubbing Alcohol, Window Cleaner or water under the grip. Then just twist the grip off the bar and you’re done! Or if you have access to a compressor, just blow them off. ESI Grips: Cleaning Your Grips You should wash your grips when you wash your bike to maintain their tacky feel for the best grip. If you don’t wash your bike make sure you remember to wash your grips when you can no longer see the colour or they’ve lost their tacky feel. Wash them with Rubbing Alcohol or Window cleaner until they’re clean. If you want to give your grips a deep clean, use Acetone and a rag; put acetone on the rag and rub the grips until clean.
