The tread also provides excellent, stable braking and traction control. The tyre also comes with Michelin's Eco N Grip™ technology, which uses a special tread compound that decreases heat build-up owing to its improved molecular cohesion. A special under-tread layer containing very low-resistance polymers increases the fuel efficiency of the tyre, saving up to 60 litres of fuel in comparison with its predecessor, the Energy Saver.
