A lot of Electro -Acoustic guitarists take their instruments for granted, in the sense that all you do is plug and play straight into your amplifier or PA, but for those Acoustic Guitarists, Upright Bass players, Mandolin or Violin players who attach a pick-up to their instrument, and therefore need a pre-amp of some kind before they plug into an amp or PA, this is the answer to your problems . Inside the Platinum Stage pre-amp / DI lies the super transparent Class A instrument pre-amp that is designed to get the full range of sound from your instruments pick-up. Fishman have included a 4-band tone control with sweepable mids, a phase switch to help fight the feedback, a pre/post EQ balanced DI with an Auto Ground lift, and a switchable gain boost to cut through when it's time for a solo Finally it is able to be Phantom powered at 48v negating the need for batteries, oh yeah, and it's very robust This EQ also has a handy belt-clip so you can wear it on stage and remain unencumbered throughout your performance. Completely redesigned from the ground up, the all-analog Platinum Stage universal instrument preamp delivers incredibly accurate sonic detail for any acoustic instrument. A discrete, high-headroom Class-A preamp uses precision, high-speed circuitry for the highest fidelity and low distortion. Classic Fishman tone centers with sweepable mid is combined with a switchable guitar/bass EQ mode, making it more musical for bass instruments and more universal for recording and performing musicians. The new Platinum Stage integrates critical performance features like adjustable volume boost and a balanced XLR D.I. output housed in a beautiful, road-ready design. With an included belt-clip, the Platinum Stage is perfect for mobile instrumentalists, such as mandolin and fiddle players. It can also be powered via 48V phantom power, offering complete control over your sound without batteries.
