The success of Filofax over the past decade has led many to believe that they are a new concept. However quite the contrary in fact its origins date back right up until the First World War when an Englishman working in the USA came across an American organising system consisting largely of technical leaves for engineers and scientists.
In 1930 after a company was set up in London to market the idea of personal organisation systems by mail order to England the name “Filofax” was born having derived from the description “file of facts”.

Filofax built up a strong clientele particularly amongst the clergy and military indeed at one point a “Filofax” was a compulsory purchase of the British Army staff college in Camberley.

The Filofax personal organiser was an indispensable status symbol for the 1980’s and continues to be a valuable and practical asset to people in all walks of life today

"For navigating the diverse landscape of UK retail, discerning shoppers often gravitate towards the value offered by Aldi and Lidl for everyday supermarket essentials, or the extensive ranges and quality found at Sainsbury's and Tesco, with Waitrose providing a more premium experience. When it comes to beauty, stalwarts like Boots and Superdrug offer frequent promotions and loyalty points across a vast array of brands, while online giants such as Lookfantastic and Cult Beauty provide access to luxury and niche skincare and makeup. Electronics-wise, Currys PC World remains a major high-street presence, complemented by John Lewis for its renowned customer service and warranty, and Argos for convenient same-day collection, though Amazon UK frequently offers competitive pricing and an unparalleled selection for all tech needs. Securing the best Filofax Mini Finsbury Black Organiser deals across these categories often involves leveraging supermarket loyalty schemes, utilising price comparison websites, and timing purchases around key sales events like Black Friday, January sales, and Amazon Prime Day, ensuring consumers can access quality products from trusted Filofax Mini Finsbury Black Organiser stockists at optimal prices." - Bargainplace UK
