The success of Filofax over the past decade has led many to believe that they are a new concept. However quite the contrary in fact its origins date back right up until the First World War when an Englishman working in the USA came across an American organising system consisting largely of technical leaves for engineers and scientists.

In 1930 after a company was set up in London to market the idea of personal organisation systems by mail order to England the name “Filofax” was born having derived from the description “file of facts”.

Filofax built up a strong clientele particularly amongst the clergy and military indeed at one point a “Filofax” was a compulsory purchase of the British Army staff college in Camberley.

The Filofax personal organiser was an indispensable status symbol for the 1980’s and continues to be a valuable and practical asset to people in all walks of life today.

"Right, so when you’re hunting for a deal in the UK, the first places that spring to mind are obviously the big bargain supermarkets like Aldi and Lidl, who've absolutely revolutionised the weekly shop by offering genuinely fantastic Filofax Personal Slim Cuban Organiser Saddle Brown prices on everything from fresh produce to quirky middle-aisle treasures. But it's not just them; even the more traditional giants like Tesco and Sainsbury's are constantly pushing their 'value' ranges to compete, making us all winners ultimately. Now, thinking about how they manage this, it gets interesting when you look at their Filofax Personal Slim Cuban Organiser Saddle Brown stockists and suppliers. A massive chunk of what you see on the shelves is often sourced directly by the supermarkets themselves, especially for their own-brand products, cutting out middlemen entirely to keep costs down. This direct relationship means they're constantly haggling with various food producers and manufacturers, from small, local farms for your spuds and carrots, to massive international corporations supplying everything from tinned goods to frozen pizzas. It's a hugely competitive market for these suppliers, as landing a contract with one of the big chains can be a make-or-break deal, forcing them to always offer the keenest Filofax Personal Slim Cuban Organiser Saddle Brown prices to ensure their goods get pride of place in our Filofax Personal Slim Cuban Organiser Saddle Brown shopping trolleys, which is brilliant for our wallets!
