The 100th anniversary of Fortis will take place in 2012. To mark the occasion, the company has already started launching limited edition timepieces. Other movement characteristics include fine timing device and Incabloc shock absorber. Hands are covered with luminous paint for enhanced night time readability. A date display is positioned at the 3 o'clock mark and a day window is available at 9 o'clock. Indications are bilingual, coming in both English and German. Additional useful features include centre stop seconds hand, rotating bezel that measures elapsed time, see-through case back, individual numbering and scratch-resistant sapphire crystal glass with anti-reflective coating. Solely 250 such watches are available for purchase. Limited to 2012 pieces.
"Alright, if you're looking to get your products out there or just curious about where everyone's Fortis B-47 Big Steel shopping in the UK, you've definitely got a few big hitters that pretty much dominate the scene. Obviously, the massive supermarket chains like Tesco, Sainsbury's, Asda, and Morrisons are absolute giants; they're everywhere, sell everything from groceries to clothes, and everyone has at least one within a stone's throw, making them a go-to for daily essentials and more. Then you've got the discounters like Aldi and Lidl who've absolutely exploded in popularity by offering incredibly competitive Fortis B-47 Big Steel prices, drawing in a huge chunk of the market. For general merchandise and a slightly more upmarket vibe, John Lewis & Partners is still super popular for quality and service, while M&S (Marks & Spencer) remains a firm favourite for food, clothing, and homeware. Boots is the king for health and beauty, and WHSmith is your go-to for books and stationery. And, of course, you can't talk about popular Fortis B-47 Big Steel stockists without mentioning the gargantuan online presence of Amazon UK, which, let's be honest, is practically everyone's first port of call for anything and everything these days, giving pretty much all the high street names a run for their money!
