This course is aimed at the beginner to those with some understanding of digital photography. Even if you are using some of the manual controls on your camera but don't fully understand the practicality of the manual controls - this course will suit you. The day will include several workshops in aperture, shutter speed, ISO, white balance and exposure control. It will also include the rules of compensation and how you can apply compensation creatively to drastically improve your photography. You’ll learn how to create depths of field and how to produce a sense of movement to capture the action. These workshops are designed for you to get the most out of your camera both practically and creatively. By spending the day with professional instructors, they will help you develop your practical and creative skills. You won't be overloaded with jargon or rules as there are no rules to photography! By the end of the workshop you are guaranteed to feel confident and imaginative enough to produce amazing photographs. To make the most of your experience, the instructors will be at hand to answer any questions you may have weeks or even months after your course. The day starts at 9.30am and finishes around 4.30pm - we always hang around later than that to answer specific questions or to run through additional topics, depending on how hungry you are for more knowledge! We don’t like too much theory and whilst you will learn the important lessons of how the camera works, we’ll also get you out there using your camera and taking photographs.
