The GTO is the latest design between ourselves and Guthrie Trapp, a fabulous guitarist that works in and around Nashville. The original was sort of the Nashville favourite, and it's' inspiration came from the old Nobels ODR-1. A great sound in itself but Guthrie required that little bit extra. You will find that the GTO has a much tighter bottom end, slightly less gain and something that many guitarists require, that increased cut in the mix. This pedal begins at a delicate tone to a truly dynamic overdrive with great feel under your finger-tips. This pedal wil compress but in the musical way. This pedal can be used as a clean boost with the added advantage of EQ or you can crank up the gain and bring in that sweet overdrive. Level - Interactively controls the overall output. The more gain, the louder it will become so you have to use the two in conjunction Gain - Controls the gain level but also creates compression and feel. It blends with the clean signal so you can really find interesting sounds Accent - Controls the cut through the mix, the top end and the bite Warmth - Controls the bottom end but also interacts with the Accent control. You can fatten up the mids but use the accent to keep it from becoming harsh and woofy. As with all the tour series, the pedal is designed and built to be robust enough for anything the touring musician can throw at it.
