Two products in one convenient package compatible with many popular, super-wide angle DSLR lenses. The injection molded acrylic 8-inch diameter dome is specifically designed for underwater photography to provide superior optical performance. Compared to a smaller 4- or 6-inch diameter dome, the larger diameter reduces edge distortion on pictures taken with certain super-wide angle lenses and makes shooting over-under shots (half-in, half-out of the water) easier. Domes are ideal underwater for shooting wide angle lenses. If you're shooting a macro lens, we recommend using the Modular Glass Flat Front instead.
"Alright, so if you're looking to get your products out there in the UK, you're probably wondering who the big players are, and honestly, the list of popular Ikelite SLR Modular 8 inch Dome Kit with 2.75 inch Lens Extension stockists is pretty diverse, ranging from the absolute giants to smaller, but mighty, specialist retailers. Obviously, the massive supermarkets like Tesco, Sainsbury's, Asda, and Morrisons are huge for pretty much anything FMCG – they've got the footfall and the logistics down pat, making them a no-brainer for everyday items. Then you've got the high street stalwarts: Boots and Superdrug dominate the health and beauty space, while major department stores like John Lewis (everyone's favourite for quality and service) and Marks & Spencer (food, clothing, homeware – they do it all!) are still massive draws for a wide array of goods, often with a premium feel. For electronics, Currys PC World is the go-to, and for home improvement, B&Q and Wickes lead the pack. Don't forget the online behemoth Amazon UK, which just swallows up everything and everyone with its sheer convenience and reach, making it a critical stockist for any brand wanting widespread distribution. Beyond these, discounters like Aldi and Lidl have exploded in popularity, and then there are the specialists like Waterstones for books, JD Sports and Sports Direct for activewear, and even smaller, trendy boutiques and independent online stores that, while not 'most popular' in sheer volume, are incredibly influential within their niches, often setting trends and fostering strong community loyalty.
