Here at the Scan offices it takes a lot to get us geeks all to come together and do what we do best and geek out at nerdy stuff like a 25 key USB Keyboard but somehow Keith Mcmillen does it every time. With the Quenexus you get a funky, illuminated, velocity sensitive and portable 25 key hub. This thing looks like its from the future but it works so well with current and previous technology. Whether it be connecting an iPad with your camera connection kit or hooking up an old MIDI synth the Quenexus has you covered. Keys The 25 touch-sensitive keys detect finger pressure, velocity, and tilt. This gives you an unbelievable mount of control over your playing that isn t really seen in most 25 key keyboards. Each key/pad is backlit and lights up with touch or when you send midi (now you can watch what is happening in your crazy arpeggios) perfect for DJ gigs or anytime you want to look cool with a portable light show. You can dial in things like tilt pitch bend or infinite sustain with the very extensive software. Portability 345 grams!!! Yep that s pretty incredible. This is completely USB powered or if you use your own apple camera connection kit you can use your iPad power. Take it anywhere you are working on music and need to get ideas down. Connections With the Quenexus you get control of CV, OSC, USB, and MIDI (via optional MIDI Expander). Hooking up Hardware becomes easier than ever and with such a small footprint for an interface you will be surprised some of the big sounds you will be able to control. For a compact MIDI/CV controller, the QuNexus reaches for superlatives both in build quality and flexibility. Decidedly not your average mini-keyboard, the QuNexus integrates with more gear before 6 a.m. than most MIDI products do all day. - Electronic Musician QuNexus has earned a place at the very top of the micro-keyboard rankings. The superb accuracy and feel of the rubber pads is second-to-none among its competitors. - Resident Advisor QuNexus is well-suited to anyone wanting a unique input that they can easily carry around. It s perfectly playable, and small and light for many musicians, it will be a must-buy. - Create Digital Music
