Kona Humuhumu 2016 Bike Stockists

The Humu originally started out as our bar bike—our two-wheeled utilitarian way about town. It was never designed to be a klunker class bike but when mountain bikes started to get expensive we wanted a hassle-free ride that you could lock up without worry. Introduced in 1992 the Humu was styled after some of the first mountain bikes like the Trailmaster and the Pro-Cruiser. All of these bikes had the double top-tube frame and moto-inspired handlebars. This is your go-everywhere every day means for knockin’ about. The Humu continues to be a big part of who we are at Kona. The latest incarnation blends retro styling and Kona’s original P2 fork with modern features like sliding dropouts disc brakes and 29-inch wheels. Cool as it ever was.“It is a damn nice piece of metal and rubber.” – wayofthebicycle.comSPEC HIGHLIGHTS Frame Material: Kona Cromoly Butted Color: Gloss Orange or Gloss Green Wheel Size: 29-inch Wheels: WTB SX19 Fork: Kona Cruiser Disc Crankset: FSA Drivetrain: Formula/FSA 18-38t singlespeed Cockpit: Kona Cruiser Brakes: Tektro Novela Tires: Schwalbe Big Apple 700x50c" Saddle: Kona CruiserFrame Material Kona Cromoly ButtedSizes S M LFork Kona Cruiser DiscCrankarms FSAChainrings 38tB/B FSA 7420Pedals Wellgo PlatformChain KMC Z51Freewheel Formula 18tChainguide n/aF/D n/aR/D n/aShifters n/aBrake Calipers Tektro NovelaFront Brake Rotor Tektro Novela 160mmRear Brake Rotor Tektro Novela 160mmBrake Levers Avid FR5Headset TH ZST No.10PHandlebar Kona CruiserStem Kona CruiserSeatpost Kona Thumb w/OffsetSeat Clamp Kona ClampGrips Kona CruiserSaddle Kona CruiserFront Hub FormulaRear Hub FormulaSpokes Sandvik 14gRims WTB SX19Front Tire Schwalbe Big Apple 700x50cRear Tire Schwalbe Big Apple 700x50cPaint Color Gloss Lime Green or Burnt Orange w/ Off-White & Black Decals
