The G105 isnt just a high power (1.2W/Channel), low distortion, low noise headphone amp for detailed mix work, it also has the ability to convert the two headphone outputs to mono for tracking. Its sends just the left channel to both sides of headphone A and the right channel to both sides of headphone B. This gives you the advantage of being able to supply two different monitor mixes at a time from the one amp (because who needs to track in stereo anyway???) and can work being driven from a single stereo pair of outputs. Anything that can help a vocalist get a bit "more me" in the headphones, whilst giving a guitarist "less them" at the same time has got to be a good thing in our book! The G105 has got XLR inputs and the ability to switch the gain control to get another +6dB of gain, or to even gain down, so to maximise the usable volume on the control for your headphones. This amp is suitable for most studio headphones, up to from 16 Ohm 600 Ohm.
