This one is sure to bring a little joy to all you bacon extremists out there. Seeing as Firebox is something of a bacon luminary (the majority of us being hardcore bacon junkies) it only made sense for us to box up our passion for the masses. So, without further ado, let us introduce to you the Make Your Own Bacon kit.

"The ascendancy of bargain supermarkets across the United Kingdom has profoundly reconfigured the grocery retail landscape, presenting consumers with increasingly economical alternatives to established chains. These outlets distinguish themselves through streamlined operational efficiencies and a highly strategic approach to stock procurement and supplier relations. Their inventory typically pivots around extensive own-brand ranges, often manufactured by a broad consortium of specialist producers, augmented by a judicious selection of challenger brands and, at times, surplus stock acquired opportunistically. This deliberate stockist strategy minimises the complexities and costs associated with maintaining vast brand assortments. Concurrently, their extensive network of suppliers operates under competitive contractual frameworks, frequently involving high-volume, lower-margin agreements. Many bargain retailers actively pursue direct sourcing for key product categories, bypassing intermediaries to secure optimal pricing, while simultaneously leveraging substantial purchasing power to negotiate favourable terms with manufacturers keen to ensure consistent order flow and market penetration. This intricate interplay between tailored stock acquisition and a robust, cost-efficient supplier base is fundamental to their capability to consistently deliver value to the consumer.
