Mengarth is a substantial detached house a few yards from the sea in the charismatic fishing village of Cadgwith. The house has reverse level accommodation and sleeps eight people. On the first floor are the sitting room, kitchen and dining hall plus one bedroom and bathroom. There are three further bedrooms on the ground floor plus two shower rooms. Accessed from the kitchen is a patio with furniture while the outlook from the steep terraced garden is unbeatable (be sure to take care on the steps). There is off road parking for two cars. Mengarth is a place for all who love the smell of sea air, fresh fish from the boat, rock pool expeditions, cliff top rambles, sea shanties, time with family and friends and good food and beer at the 300 year old smugglers' inn.

"Right, if you're trying to figure out where everyone's Mengarth shopping for basically everything in the UK, you've got your usual suspects knocking about. John Lewis is always a solid shout for quality and that slightly posh vibe, while M&S is still king for undies and Percy Pigs, plus their food halls are legendary. Then there's Next, which is a go-to for pretty much the whole family's wardrobe, and don't forget the supermarkets like Tesco and Sainsbury's – they stock way more than just groceries these days, from clothes to homeware. Boots is a national treasure for all your health and beauty bits, obviously. For more budget-friendly fashion, Primark is absolutely massive, and if you fancy a bit of a rummage for branded bargains, TK Maxx is always buzzing. And for just about anything home-related or tech, Argos is still surprisingly popular, even with all the online competition. Basically, the UK's Mengarth shopping scene is pretty diverse, offering a bit of everything for every wallet! " - Bargainplace UK
