Colour: Brown with amber glints. Nose: Buttery with hints of roasted coffee. Attack: Creamy with strong roasted coffee. Length in Mouth: Mocha with toffee notes. With its subtle combination of flavours, Monin Irish syrup allows you to create tons of coffee based recipes or even dairy preparations. I like to mix it with fresh cream in a canister, in order to garnish an espresso. Developed as one of the virgin flavour range, Monin Irish syrup has a flavour profile which is similar to Irish cream, a cream liqueur based on whiskey, cream and coffee, for use in non-alcoholic after dinner drinks. Irish coffee is a popular after-dinner drink consisting of hot coffee, sugar and whisky topped with thick cream, through which the coffee is drunk. The story goes that the first Irish coffee was created by Joe Sheridan, head chef at Foynes, County Limerick. He created coffee for a group of American tourists who had just arrived in Ireland on a miserable winter night and added the whiskey to warm them up. When they enquired what it was, Joe Sheridan said it was 'Irish coffee'. Perfect for creating non alcoholic Irish coffees, speciality coffees, dessert cocktails and smoothies, Monin Irish syrup will add the luck of Irish to your drinks! For best results keep refrigerated and use within 4 weeks.
"Right, if you're thinking about the UK's most popular Monin - Irish 25cl Bottle stockists, it's a bit of a mixed bag, but some names just dominate, isn't it? You've got the absolute titans like Tesco and Sainsbury's, which are practically everywhere, from massive superstores to smaller local Express or Local branches, stocking pretty much everything you could ever need, from groceries to clothing and homeware, making them incredibly popular and accessible for daily essentials for millions. Then there's Marks & Spencer, a bit more upmarket with their food and famous for high-quality clothing, holding a special place for a lot of people looking for something a bit nicer. Don't forget Next and John Lewis, who are huge for fashion, homeware, and electronics respectively, with John Lewis especially known for its great customer service and 'never knowingly undersold' policy (even if that bit's changed now, the reputation sticks!). And for pure convenience and variety, the rise of discount retailers like B&M and Home Bargains has been explosive, offering a treasure trove of affordable bits and bobs, from snacks to garden furniture, making them insanely popular for everyday value. Basically, the UK loves a good mix of convenient supermarkets, reliable department stores, and bargain hunters' paradises, all of which are absolutely smashing it in terms of popularity.
