"So, if you're wondering where everyone's Now and Forever (DVD) shopping for their bits and bobs in the UK, it’s pretty much the usual suspects dominating the high street and, increasingly, our screens. Think Tesco and Sainsbury's for pretty much everything, not just groceries, but clothes and home stuff too – they're absolutely massive and everywhere, making them super convenient. Then you've got the clothing giants like Next and M&S (Marks & Spencer), still pulling in huge crowds for quality wardrobe pieces and, in M&S's case, their legendary food halls. For home essentials and more affordable fashion, Primark is obviously a massive draw, famous for its incredible value and always bustling. And we can't forget the online beasts like Amazon UK, which has just completely swallowed a huge chunk of all retail, selling absolutely everything under the sun and making two-day delivery the norm. Of course, there are also the DIY and home improvement biggies like B&Q and Screwfix that are absolute go-tos for anyone needing a hammer or a whole new kitchen. Basically, it’s a mix of the super convenient, the value-driven, and the online behemoths that are really shaping where Brits spend their cash. " - Bargainplace UK
