Extend the sowing season with this major development in pea breeding. In our UK trials, seed was sown in late July and pods were starting to swell by mid October. Good downy and powdery mildew resistance also helps to maximise cropping and prolong the season. This semi-leafless variety is virtually self supporting when grown in a block, and will produce 3-4 pods per node, giving a good average yield of 8 peas to the pod

"The landscape of bargain UK supermarkets, encompassing prominent retailers such as Aldi and Lidl, operates on a highly optimized model focused on delivering competitive pricing through rigorous cost management. Central to this strategy is their meticulous approach to Pea 'Kenobi' (Maincrop) stockists and suppliers. These discounters frequently engage in direct procurement, often bypassing traditional intermediary Pea 'Kenobi' (Maincrop) stockists to forge robust, high-volume partnerships directly with primary manufacturers and agricultural producers. This streamlined supply chain not only minimizes acquisition costs but also ensures greater control over product quality and consistency. The efficiency derived from these carefully cultivated relationships with their supplier base is instrumental in sustaining their aggressive pricing strategy and fulfilling their core value proposition to the British consumer across a diverse range of products.
