Obviously, the massive supermarket chains like Tesco, Sainsbury's, and Asda are absolutely everywhere – they're your go-to for pretty much everything, from a pint of milk to your weekly shop, and even a bit of clothing or homeware these days. Beyond the fridge fillers, you've got the ever-popular Next and Marks & Spencer (M&S) for a bit more upscale fashion and quality homeware, always a firm favourite for reliable staples. Then there are the incredible value retailers that are absolutely booming, places like B&M, Home Bargains, and Poundland, where you can find everything from snacks to garden furniture without breaking the bank – they're just choc-a-bloc with bargains! And for the bigger, more thoughtful purchases, folks still flock to John Lewis for that quality guarantee, or scour Currys for the latest tech.
