"Alright, if you're curious about where seemingly everyone in the UK gets their stuff, it's a pretty varied list, but some names just dominate the retail landscape! For your everyday groceries and household essentials, you're talking about the absolute titans like Tesco, Sainsbury's, Asda, and Morrisons – they've got stores practically everywhere, and everyone's got their preferred one for the weekly shop. Then there's the massive rise of discount supermarkets such as Aldi and Lidl, which have become incredibly popular for snagging a bargain. When it comes to fashion, homeware, or just generally higher-end goods, John Lewis and Marks & Spencer are still huge, especially for quality and gifting. For more affordable fashion and home bits, Next and Primark are constantly buzzing, while Dunelm is a go-to for all things home. And for everything from DIY supplies to electronics, think B&Q, Screwfix, and Currys PC World. Plus, you can't forget Boots and Superdrug for all your health and beauty needs – they're practically on every high street! It really depends on what you're after, but these are definitely the household names everyone relies on. " - Bargainplace UK
