The Rayflash Ringflash Adapter short version turns your DSLR's existing hotshoe mounted flashgun into a ringflash at a fraction of the cost of a stand-alone system. The Universal Ringflash utilises the light from your existing flashgun and bends it through the circular Ringflash and around the lens of a DSLR. The light produced is much softer and more enveloping than that of an on-camera flashgun, reducing the size and directionality of background shadows. To identify which model RayFlash (short or long) you need, measure the distance from your flash to the optical axis. The short model is designed for use with flashguns where the distance between the optical axis and the middle of the flash reflector is between 160 and 175mm.
