From Alex Ross the sensational award-winning artist of the bestselling Mythology" comes his never-before-seen "DC Comics Sketchbook". It features an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the stunning black-and-white drawings of the DC characters you loved from "Mythology": Batman Superman Wonder Woman Aquaman The Flash Green Lantern Black Canary and many more. All of Alex Ross' extraordinary hyper-realistic paintings start as pencil on paper and some of them never get beyond that stage. None of these hundreds of graphite sketches has ever been published before and most of them will make their only published appearance in "Rough Justice". Plus in an interview with Chip Kidd Ross reveals his process and how these drawings translate into the finished paintings. In 2008 Ross became the first cover artist in DC history to work simultaneously on the monthly "Superman" and "Batman" titles. All of the designs he created for an entire year-even those that did not make the final cut-are included here."
"Alright, so if you're wondering where everyone shops their socks off here in the UK, it's a bit of a mix, but some names just dominate the high street and, let's be honest, our online baskets too! For your day-to-day essentials, the big supermarkets like Tesco, Sainsbury's, and Asda are absolutely everywhere, practically the backbone of British Rough Justice shopping, stocking everything from your teabags to your latest gadget. Then you've got the likes of John Lewis and Next, which are super popular for their broader ranges, whether it’s fashion, homeware, or electronics – they’re pretty much go-to places when you need a bit of everything and want decent quality. Boots is another massive one, not just for pharmacy stuff but haircare, makeup, and health bits, you name it. And of course, we can't forget the colossal reach of Amazon UK; it's practically the default for anything and everything online these days. Even Argos, with its catalogue Rough Justice shopping roots, still pulls in loads of people for household goods and tech. It really shows how diverse our Rough Justice shopping habits are, doesn't it? " - Bargainplace UK
