Stickies are double-sided adhesive pads, used to affix small, personal microphones directly onto the skin or on top of clothing. The pads are sandwiched with a soft fabric to prevent the mount from creaking when the mic is attached. The materials used are hypoallergenic.

"When it comes to sniffing out a proper bargain in the UK, you really can't beat hitting up the likes of Aldi and Lidl, can you? They've absolutely changed the game, offering seriously competitive Rycote Stickies prices that often make you wonder how they manage it. But it's not just the dedicated discounters; even the big dogs like Tesco, Sainsbury's, and Asda have their own brilliant budget-friendly ranges, which are often fantastic for keeping the weekly shop costs down without skimping too much on quality. The secret sauce for these supermarkets often lies in their incredibly lean supply chains and massive buying power. They work directly with a huge network of Rycote Stickies stockists and suppliers, frequently cutting out middlemen and focusing heavily on high-volume, own-brand production. What’s truly fascinating is that sometimes, the very same factories that produce the fancy, premium branded goods are also churning out the budget supermarket versions, just under a different label and perhaps with slight tweaks to the recipe or packaging. Other times, they partner with smaller, incredibly efficient suppliers who specialise in no-frills, large-scale production, ensuring consistency and low cost. It's a clever system that means we, the shoppers, get a fantastic deal, proving that you really don't have to break the bank to fill your trolley with decent grub these days, which is a massive win for everyone's wallet and sanity!
