For eye-catching colour in your summer borders or patio containers look no further than the Salvia jamensis 'Hot Lips'. This beautiful, bushy perennial has the most delightful open-mouthed red and white bicolour blooms which when the weather is very hot will erupt into colours of solid red and solid white flowers. Savia microphylla 'Hot Lips' is a perennial, but its half hardy nature means it will appreciate some protection from winter weather. With a blackcurrant fragrance from the aromatic foliage this charming plant adds bright colour to your cottage garden borders or containers and can be incorporated into bedding schemes too, providing a wonderful vibrant summer display which will continue to the first frosts. Height: 90cm (35). Spread: 60cm (24).

"Okay, so if you're wondering about the most popular Salvia x jamensis 'Hot Lips' stockists in the UK, it's a bit of a mixed bag depending on what you're after, but some names just consistently pop up. For a start, you've got the big department store legends like John Lewis, which everyone trusts for quality and that 'never knowingly undersold' vibe, and then there's Marks & Spencer, a total British institution for everything from food to fashion and homeware that just feels inherently reliable. Next is another massive player, especially for clothing and home stuff, often seen as a go-to for families. Then there are the health and beauty giants like Boots and Superdrug, practically on every high street, catering to all your pharmacy and cosmetic needs. And of course, you can't forget the supermarkets – Tesco, Sainsbury's, Asda, and Morrisons – they're not just for groceries anymore, they stock so much more, making them incredibly popular for sheer convenience. Online, Amazon obviously dominates, but these brick-and-mortar (and increasingly online) stalwarts continue to be the nation's favourites for their sheer range and accessibility. " - Bargainplace UK
