The Santa Cruz Hightower CC XT 27.5+ Mountain Bike 2016 is the highly anticipated successor to the Tallboy LT, offering long travel trail versatility with an added twist of the new 27.5+ wheel size. There are a few glaring differences between the Santa Cruz Hightower and its predecessor, mainly its slacker, longer and lower geometry design, this allows for a much more capable ride that'll eat up anything you can put infront of it. One of the major attractions of the Santa Cruz Hightower 2016 is its ability to switch between wheel sizes without compromising the geometry of the bike. Super short chainstays and Boost dropout spacings accommodate both 29 wheels and the chunkier 27.5+ wheels with absolutely zero clearance issues. Another great addition to help with switching wheel sizes is the High/Low setting on the upper link of the full suspension all mountain bike, with a simple flip you'll be able to instantly adjust and optimise bottom bracket height for a near perfect ride on both wheel sizes (150mm fork is spec'd on the 27.5+ model, whilst the 29er gets 140mm of travel due to head angle optimisation). Reworked VPP suspension provides 135mm of effortlessly smooth travel that accommodates your aggressive tendencies, complete with finishing touches such as a 150mm dropper post, internal cable routing and water bottle mounts that only further assure the Hightower CC as THE trail 27.5 plus mountain bike to look out for in the coming years.
