The History Of Sheaffer
Back in 1912 in Fort Madison Iowa Walter A. Sheaffer took his grand idea of a pen-filling apparatus utilising a lever system and with his life savings founded the W. A. Sheaffer Company.
At the time the company occupied a somewhat-modest space; this was in fact the back room of Mr Sheaffers jewellery store. But Sheaffer had a much greater vision for the company.
Nearly 100-years later Sheaffer are still offering innovative reliable and stylish writing instruments.
Sheaffer pens are used worldwide today by those appreciative of Sheaffers elegant and classical touch.
Sheaffer take inspiration from the past and look forward to the future by redefining the fashion of written communication in the current technological world.

"Alright, so when you're thinking about the real big hitters in the UK retail scene, the places everyone flocks to and where brands dream of landing a spot, you're looking at a pretty diverse bunch of household names. Naturally, the department store giants like John Lewis and Selfridges are always high on the list, offering that premium, curated experience and attracting a huge customer base who trust their quality. Then there are the high street stalwarts; think Next for its reliable fashion and homeware offerings, M&S for everything from food to fashion and quality basics, and the massive online presence of ASOS, which pretty much dictates trends for a whole generation and offers incredible reach, especially for younger demographics. You absolutely can't forget the sheer power and accessibility of the big supermarkets either – Tesco, Sainsbury's, and Asda aren't just for your weekly shop; they've got massive non-food ranges including clothing, home goods, and electronics, making them incredibly convenient and a huge gateway to the mass market. For health, beauty, and wellness, Boots and Superdrug are absolute go-tos, dominating that specific segment with their extensive product ranges and loyalty schemes. And if we're talking about homeware, Dunelm and The Range have become incredibly popular, offering a vast array of affordable and stylish options. Basically, these are the heavy hitters because they've got the footfall (or clicks!), the established trust, and the distribution networks that make them incredibly attractive for any brand looking to make a serious impact across the country.
