Spank Spoon 28 Wheelset 2017 Stockists

Spank Spoon 28 WheelsetThese wheels are aimed at young shredders; kids with a love for mountain biking should be riding the same wheels as adults. The Spoon 28 wheels carry all the same technology as the higher up models, they are the same as the adult version, but simply smaller so kids can control them The Oohbah technology is a unique feature found on Spank rims and wheels. The central section of the rim is traditionally slightly curved or flat on most rims, but the Oohbah design features a wave-like pattern in the centre. The Oohbah feature in the centre of the rim adds exceptional strength and makes it more rigid, commonly only found in wheels that are much heavier. This structural benefit also allows Spank to make rims that are wider without having to add extra material, which would add weight to them These wheels also have the BeadNip technology, which consists of an inner ridge on the rim. This stops a tyre bead from travelling down into the rim, which often causes pinch flats when using a tubed setup. When running a tubeless setup, this BeadNip further decreases the chances of the tyre burping sealant when running lower pressures Features:Tubeless ReadyPresta ValveBrake Mount: 6-BoltAxle Type: 15x100mm Front, QRx135mm (20") and 12x142mm (24") RearXD Compatible: Yes (sold separately)Spoke Count: J-bend, 32H Front, 32H RearMaterial: MGR Dynamal AlloyOuter Width: 28mmWeight: 1880g (20"), 1550g (24")Buy Spank Wheels & Tyres from Chain Reaction Cycles, the World’s Largest Online Bike Store.
