Specialized Enduro Elite Carbon 29/6fattie Mountain Bike 2017 Stockists

With the all-new Enduro Elite Carbon we're still scratching our heads—is faster on the way up or the way down? But at this point we're kind of like "Who cares? This thing is fun as hell." We gave it a whole new geometry with a slacker front end a longer top tube short chainstays and a lower bottom bracket. All of this together makes the bike truly feel glued to the ground and the platform is more responsive and capable then ever. We even added some brand new bits like integrated storage with a SWAT™ Door at the down tube and made "old" new again by making a triumphant return to a threaded bottom bracket. To keep the weight down the frame is constructed with our legendary X-Wing layout with a FACT 9m carbon fiber chassis and M5 alloy rear end. And to ensure top-level performance on the descents this material choice is greeted by 160mm of plush travel at both the front and rear. And handling suspension duties out back is the talk of the town rear shock the RockShox Monarch Plus with our Rx Trail Tune. We even made it to be compatible with our 6Fattie wheel system so you'll always be ready for the trail ahead. For the build this Enduro is packed with drool-worthy gear like SRAM one-by 11-speed shifting powerful Guide R brakes w/ S4 calipers hand-built Roval wheels and a RockShox Lyrik RC fork up front. The frame has an X-Wing layout with a FACT 9m carbon chassis and an M5 alloy rear end. Together these elements combine to form the perfect balance of low weight responsive handling and unparalleled strength. It's also been built off our 29 Geometry which lends itself to running 6Fattie wheels and tires (only a 7mm BB drop) in order to provide an aggressive well-rounded ride. And with internal Command Post IR routing a return to a threaded bottom bracket and an integrated SWAT™ Door at the down tube you get a bike that's clean dependable and ready for anything that the trail has to offer. A RockShox Lyrik RC fork puts out a 160mm of plush travel. It has all of the features the trail demands like a 15mm Maxle Ultimate thru-axle 110mm spacing and stiff 35mm Fast Black upper tubes. It's also compatible with 6Fattie wheels & tires for the occassions where traction reigns supreme. SRAM's 11-speed GX serves up powerful and precise one-by shifting so you can say goodbye to dropped chains and unecessary grams.FRAMEFACT 9m X-Wing layout carbon front chassis M5 alloy rear end All-Mountain Geometry SWAT™ Door integration threaded BB fully enclosed internal cable routing ManFu link oversized pivot bearings 12x148mm dropouts replaceable derailleur hanger 165mm of travelFORKRockShox Lyrik RC 29/27.5+ Solo Air compression and rebound adjust tapered steerer 15x110mm Maxle Stealth thru-axle 51mm offset 160mm travelREAR SHOCKRockShox Monarch Plus Rx All-Mountain Tune AUTOSAG rebound and 3-position compression adjust 216x57mmFRONT HUBRoval Traverse sealed cartridge bearings 15mm thru-axle 110mm spacing 24hREAR HUBRoval Traverse DT Swiss internals sealed cartridge bearings SRAM XD driver body 12mm thru-axle 148mm spacing 28hSPOKESDT Swiss RevolutionRIMSRoval Traverse 29 hookless alloy 29mm inner width 24/28h tubeless readyINNER TUBES29x1.75/2.4" 60mm Presta valveFRONT TYREButcher GRID casing 29x2.3" 60TPI Aramid folding bead 2Bliss ReadyREAR TYRESlaughter GRID casing 29x2.3" 60TPI Aramid folding bead 2Bliss ReadyCRANKSETRaceFace Aeffect 6000-series alloy 24mm spindle 52mm chainlineCHAINRINGS28T direct mountBOTTOM BRACKETRace Face threadedSHIFT LEVERSSRAM GX 11-speed triggerREAR DERAILLEURSRAM GX long cage 11-speedCASSETTESRAM XG-1150 11-speed 10-42tCHAINSRAM PC-1110 11-speed w/PowerLinkFRONT BRAKESRAM Guide R hydraulic disc organic pads Guide S4 4-piston caliper 200mm rotorREAR BRAKESRAM Guide R hydraulic disc organic pads Guide S4 4-piston caliper 180mm rotorHANDLEBARSSpecialized DH 7050 alloy 8-degree backsweep 6-degree upsweep 27mm rise 780mm 31.8mmGRIPSSpecialized Sip Grip half-waffle S/M: regular thickness L/XL: XL thicknessSTEMSpecialized Trail 3D forged alloy 4-bolt 6-degree riseSADDLEBody Geometry Henge Comp hollow Cr-Mo rails 143mmSEATPOSTCommand Post IRcc 12 position micro-height adjustable alien head design bottom mount cable routing remote adjust SRL lever 30.9mm S: 100mm M/L/XL: 125mm travelSEAT BINDERSpecialized alloy 2-bolt 27.2mmPEDALSResin Test Ride w/toe clips
