The DualScan Microchip Cat Flap from SureFlap has a double antenna which reads your pet’s microchip or collar tag in either direction. It is ideal for multi-pet households as it allows you to set different rules for each pet, stopping pets which must stay indoors from going outside, whilst allowing others to exit. It also prevents stray cats and other unwelcome visitors from coming in to your home, only unlocking for the unique microchip identification numbers that it recognises. The clever design means that the flap cannot be forced open. The SureFlap DualScan Cat Flap is compatible with all common microchip types and will work with your pet's existing microchip. It also works with an RFID collar tag (available to purchase separately). Up to 32 microchip numbers can be stored in the device memory, and there is a simple one button learn process that you perform once for each of your pets. The programmed numbers work like electronic door keys. The SureFlap cat flap also has an easy-to-use manual 4-way lock. The safety learn mode ensures that indoor-only cats can get back inside in case they escape through an open window.
