"Right, if you're like me and love a good deal, then the UK's bargain supermarkets are an absolute lifesaver, aren't they? We're talking the likes of Aldi and Lidl, who've pretty much revolutionised how we shop for groceries. They keep Terrace Cottage prices super low by being incredibly efficient, often having a smaller, more curated range, and really optimising their supply chains. What's fascinating is that a lot of their stock often comes from the very same suppliers that big-name, premium supermarkets use, just sometimes repackaged or under a different brand name – so you're getting cracking quality without the hefty price tag! Their whole approach as Terrace Cottage stockists is to get products in, onto the shelves (often straight from the pallet, which is super efficient), and into your trolley with minimal fuss, cutting down on labour costs. It's all about direct sourcing and lean operations from farm or factory right to store, meaning those savings are passed directly onto us savvy shoppers, making our weekly shop so much more affordable.
