"Right, if you're wondering where everyone's The Cot shopping these days in the UK, it pretty much boils down to a few big beasts you'll spot everywhere. Obviously, Tesco is an absolute goliath, practically on every corner, selling everything from groceries to clothes, so they're a massive one for general stuff. Then for your more dedicated food shop, people also flock to Sainsbury's and Asda, who are always battling it out for the top spots, and you can't forget Aldi and Lidl who've completely stormed the market with their budget-friendly options. Beyond food, for fashion and homewares, Next is still hugely popular, especially for its online presence and delivery, while Marks & Spencer continues to draw in a loyal crowd for quality clothing and their posh food halls. And for all your DIY and garden needs, B&Q and Screwfix are the go-to places, pretty much essential for homeowners. It’s a pretty diverse mix, but those are definitely the household names you see folks heading to time and time again. " - Bargainplace UK
