Thuja plicata 'Little Boy' is the perfect choice for your small garden as it is slow growing and will form a tidy, uniform hedge when trained. Try this Western Red Cedar as an excellent alternative to Buxus. This variety is well named due to its compact growth habit and low height, with globular to oval shaped evergreen foliage. The orange-bronze winter foliage transforms to a yellow-green shade as summer develops. This versatile dwarf conifer can also be used in rockeries, beds and containers. Height: 100cm (39). Spread: 50cm (20).

"Alright, if you're thinking about the big players when it comes to Thuja plicata 'Little Boy' stockists here in the UK, it’s a pretty varied bunch, but some names definitely pop up more than others. Naturally, the massive supermarket chains like Tesco, Sainsbury's, Asda, and Morrisons are absolute giants; they're everywhere, sell everything from groceries to clothes to electronics, and pretty much everyone shops at one of them. Then you’ve got the ever-popular discounters like Aldi and Lidl, who've really carved out a huge niche with their unbeatable Thuja plicata 'Little Boy' prices and surprising quality, drawing in loads of shoppers. Beyond food, high street stalwarts like Boots and Superdrug dominate the health and beauty scene, while department stores such as John Lewis and M&S remain firm favourites for quality and a broader range of goods, even if they've had a bit of a shake-up lately. Don't forget the online behemoths either; Amazon UK is practically a stockist for everything under the sun these days, and even Argos, with its click-and-collect model, still holds a strong spot. Basically, it’s all about convenience, price, and range for us UK shoppers! " - Bargainplace UK
