The grading directs the water and slush out of the grooves in the tread pattern. nnThe tyre is constructed from natural rubber that contains three different compounds and “twin-trac” silica. The twin-trac silica rubber combines the Nokian Hakkapeliitta rubber that is capable of handling the harsh Northern European weather and a silica-based compound that can handle the milder weather. With the Nokian Silent Sidewall Technology, a special rubber compound between the sidewall and the tread actively dampens the sounds and vibrations from the road.
